David DiTullio is Defensor, Inc.'s Chief Operations Officer and a decorated combat veteran with over 20 years of military service. He is a veteran of Operations Enduring Freedom and Noble Eagle, and an expert in small unit direct combat missions. He has delivered thousands of pistol permit, concealed carry, force on force scenario training and live fire courses.

 

DiTullio, an avid CCW practitioner, led a U.S. Army team in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Kandahar, Helmand, and Oruzgan Province of Afghanistan. He supported counterinsurgency strategy by executing raid, reconnaissance, search and recovery, pathfinder operations, presence patrol, and high value target search operations. DiTullio has led a U.S. Navy team providing ship-board security to military contracted vessels is support of Operation Noble Eagle.

DiTullio has led numerous firearms skills courses focusing on close quarters battle, day and night small arms fire, the M9 pistol, the M4 rifle, the M500 shotgun and the M249 squad automatic rifle, among others. He earned the Bronze Star, NATO Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, and Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.

DiTullio has completed the U.S. Army Pathfinder Course and Live Environment Training. He is a graduate of the U.S. Army Air Assault School, Naval Special Warfare Selection Course, Combat Life Saver Course, and Long Range Advance Scout Surveillance System Training. DiTullio retired from the U.S. Army in 2015 as a platoon sergeant of a reconnaissance platoon specializing in rotary aircraft and maritime insertion and Reconnaissance and Pathfinder operations.

 

DiTullio has over 15 years of experience with the Department of Homeland Security. He is trained in the latest security equipment and specialized skills as a behavior detection officer. His skills include behavioral analysis, surveillance and counter surveillance, interview and interrogation techniques, and suicide bomber indicators.
